Description

ABSTRACT

The music and performance industry is considered one of the most affected and crisis-ridden in the last three years. Despite the expected post-pandemic boom, the war was another major blow to the music industry. However, during the month of military operations, the creative industry with the participation of young performers resumed concert activities in Ukraine and abroad. Youth musical performance acquires not only artistic and aesthetic meaning, but also becomes a means of drawing attention to the military conflict in Ukraine. The concert and performing activities of young people acquire a volunteer nature, because by broadcasting the national cultural product, the performers not only receive funds to support the Ukrainian army, but also help peaceful citizens to adapt and perceive new living conditions. Concerts of famous Ukrainian performers and amateurs abroad create more comfortable conditions for refugees and are an alternative network of conveying real information to residents of foreign countries who may be influenced by fakes and disinformation from the Russian information space.

Keywords: war, musical front, patriotism, volunteerism, opposition to information warfare.
