ABSTRACT
The article examines the influence of online social networking on Ukrainian students in 2021. The author made an attempt to highlight attitude of contemporary young people to the influence of online networks on their life and activity. Popularity and application of social networks for the purpose of communication and education brings up the necessity for studying of the networks influence on mindsets of young people and their online communication. Thus, research is necessary to examine the influence of social networks within Ukrainian society, with the current article focusing on students’ network activity. This article discusses the effects of social networks on lifestyles, communicative behaviors and education of young people both personally and socially by linking theory and practice. The purpose of the study was to explore not only the attitude of students towards social networks, but also the communicative and educational aspects of online networks. The study involved 17-19-year-old students of Ukrainian higher educational institution. In terms of data collection, the author used a questionnaire. Author also managed to identify preferred topics for online communication and analyzed them.
