Description

RESTORING RESPECT Project (RRP) is an Erasmus plus strategic partnership led by the Restorative Justice for All International Institute aiming to facilitate the recognition and certification of skills and competences of migrants and refugees in Europe. The underlying values of restorative justice (power-sharing, equality, dignity and respect)were used as the foundations of the project.

The activities support innovation in the vocational, education and training (VET) field by creating, piloting and disseminating an interactive platform and a mobile phone application tailored to the needs and realities of migrant and refugee communities in the participating project countries (the UK, Cyprus, Greece, Spain and Italy) and across Europe.

RRP has also designed and accredited an e-course that will enhance the skills and knowledge of migrants and refugees boosting their employability and integration in our European societies. In this context, RRP creates innovative tools (interactive platform and a mob application), which will act as an early intervention programme for refugees and migrants, who cannot procure documentary evidence of their qualifications. They will be able to undergo a “qualification analysis” by providing a sample of their work that testifies to their skills, knowledge and capabilities.

This e-book offers a package of digital material, through which practitioners will be able to collect and analyse quantitative and qualitative data with regards to refugees’ qualifications and skills. This assessment aims to assist their work in migrants’ ultimate integration. Our ebook is based on European Tools for transparency and recognition of skills and competencies, the European Qualification Framework (EQF), European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET) and the European Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET
