Description

ABSTRACT

The proposed research is an attempt to analyze the phenomenon of author song in the context of socio-cultural needs of modern youth in the conditions of the global COVID-19 pandemic. The further purpose of the study was to assess the phenomenon of author song from the standpoint of cultural syncretism and features of online integration of song creativity of young performers. Based on empirical research, it has been determined that author song remains relevant for the current Generation Z and Alpha. Analysis of the behavioral model of these generations and comparison of these models with the results of the sociological surveys, have revealed a more stable system of values and moral and ethical cultural guidelines of modern youth involved in the author song flow. For modern performers of author song, both works of the genre classics and of modern, purely Ukrainian bards are relevant, which has testified to the active development of this trend and its specific role in youth culture. This trend allows us to draw a conclusion about the interpretation of the genre through the prism of the cultural needs of modern youth.
