Due to the global digitalization and the Industry 4.0 industrial revolution, digital technologies are currently being intensively implemented in all areas of agriculture. Digital technologies change the conditions of resource management of any element of the agricultural system; allow making management on the principles of optimization, individual approach, reasonableness and predictability. One of the areas of “smart” agriculture is the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, which can be used to solve the following tasks: the creation of electronic field maps, operational monitoring of crops, assessment of work and control, protection of agricultural land, pesticide crop treatment to control harmful objects, etc.
The readiness of the future specialist to work with digital technologies in professional activities depends on the level of formation of his digital competence. Based on the analysis of the current state of the agricultural sector in the world identified key areas of its digitalization and identified the main problems of training future agricultural professionals to the requirements of the modern labor market, including
work with digital equipment. The study identified digital educational tools that are preferred by teachers in the educational process and their understanding of the role of digital technology in the training of agricultural professionals. The study provides an opportunity to obtain objective data on the main directions of digitalization of the process of training future masters of industrial training in agriculture, through the creation of digital educational environment and training of teachers in the field of digital technology.
