About the RJ4All Publications e-bookstore
The e-Bookstore is a non-profit, independently operated business owned by RJ4All Publications, which is the publishing arm of the RJ4all International Institute.
The e-Bookstore aims to be your one-stop shop for all RJ4All Publications ebooks, Journals and manuals. All our Journals and e-books are subsidised through charitable income and offered at a fixed cost of £9.99. Individual journal papers are also subsidised at a fixed cost of £3.99. We also offer annual subscriptions to our Journals. You can find more by visiting the Journals’ web pages. All proceeds go towards funding our charitable objects as well as making research, publications and knowledge available as widely as possible.
What the e-Bookstore is not
The Bookstore is not owned or leased by an outside company. It does not have any staff and is run by volunteers. We are non-profit and all proceeds go towards RJ4All Institute’s charitable objects. Our mark-up serves to cover our overhead, such as shipping, labor and volunteers’ expenses. As a non-profit store, any extra funds generated by the Bookstore are re-invested into the people who volunteer their time in supporting the projects listed on this website. The Bookstore is not a big box store that puts profit ahead of people. The Bookstore will not sell you an old edition, an international edition, or a book in poor condition. We are not a huge online retailer who may take your money but not deliver the product.
Terms of Sales for e-books, articles, special issues and other digital files
Please note that the usage of e-books and articles is restricted to the buyer and to 14 downloads/ shares.For further usages, the below price list will apply:
- For up to 14 users: Price as advertised
- For up to 30 users: Price plus 50% discount
- For up to 100 users: Price plus 100% discount
- For unlimited users: Price plus 300% discount

Licenses purchased by institutions and their cost
Institutions, universities, bar associations and public sector organisations are welcome to contact us for license purchase for any item that might be of interest. The costs for purchasing a license are:
For each user and item: a nominal fee of £10.
Discounts
You are entitled to a discount of 15% if you purchase 3 items in one transaction. A discount of 25% is given for purchasing 5 or more items in one transaction.

Please note that the files include metadata which means they can be tracked in terms of downloads and usages. Any breach of this policy will result in litigation as unfortunately we must protect our publishing and copyrights.

RJ4All peer-reviewed Journals – Terms and Self-archiving Policy
The Youth Voice Journal (YVJ) is published online with one volume per year. Each volume includes 5 issues and each issue a minimum of 7 research papers.
The Internet Journal of Restorative Justice (IJRJ) is published online with one volume per year. Each volume includes 3 issues and each issue a minimum of 3 research papers.
Terms of Sales for Institutional Subscriptions to the Internet Journal of Restorative Justice and Youth Voice Journal
Once an annual institutional subscription is purchased, within 24 hours the subscriber shall receive (a) their allocated codes for accessing the Journal in digital format (b) instructions on how to use the codes. The Journals are not produced in print.
Usage of the codes is unlimited, but restricted to the Institution’s authorised users. Usage of the codes will remain active for a year and will apply to all the Journal’s digital files including: (1) individual research papers (2) individual book reviews (3) Special Issues. Usage is tracked.
Individual subscriptions to the Journal also trigger a 25% discount code for all RJ4All e-books. The code shall be provided within 24 hours of subscription and will be active for 3 months (up to two uses).
Terms of Sales for Individual Subscriptions to the Internet Journal of Restorative Justice and Youth Voice Journal

Self-archiving Policy and Open Access fees
Due to our non-profit nature and the unfunded nature of our operational model, RJ4All Publications operates only “Gold open access”. This requires a fee, known as an Article Processing Charge (APC) or Book Processing Charge. (BPC). We have a standard fee for all our articles, which is currently set at £200 per publication. For Special Issues, the standard Open Access one off fee is £500 for up to six articles. If the Special Issue contains more than six articles, an additional £200 fee per article or another £500 fee for six articles will be required.
This APC charge will give Gold Open unlimited access to the publication independently of location, number of users or duration. If you wish for your publication to be Open Access please email contact@rj4allpublications.com
Alternatively, you may opt for an individual or institutional subscription to the entire Journal, which might turn out to be a better value for money (see above).
Payment method and security
The Bookstore uses PayPal as a payment method. Once you have selected the merchandise by adding it to your Card, you will be taken to Checkout via Paypal. These sections of our website are SSL Secure Shopping pages.
Refund and return policy
General merchandise can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a refund in the form of the original payment. You must have the receipt for any refunds; returns without a receipt will be given store credit at the current selling price. The cost for returning the merchandise lies with the buyer due to the non-profit nature of our bookstore.
Shipping methods and rates
Shipping rates are broken into:
- Ebooks (1-2 Business Days) £0.00
- Domestic (3-5 Business Days) £9.99
- International (5-12 Business Days) £15.99
Please make sure you selected the correct shipping rate. Remember that there are no shipping costs for e-books.
The rates are fixed and are based on Royal Mail guidance. We ship merchandise within 24 hours of payment.
The availability of each item is clearly labelled throughout the bookstore. Many items are labelled “In Stock,” which means that your order will generally be processed and ready to ship within 24 hours after being placed. Larger orders may require additional processing time.
