About the Special Issue

This special issue aims to critically explore how AI and EI are reshaping the ways young people communicate, connect, form relationships and experience belonging in an increasingly digital world. It seeks to move beyond the assumption that greater connection might not mean compassion, that trust, empathy and courtesy are soon going to be history.

This issue seeks to weave together several different dimensions of psychology, sociology, communication, management, marketing, education, technology, spirituality to investigate both quantitatively and qualitatively the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead in the forms of companionships, loneliness, digital realism, etc.

Aims of the Special Issue:

The Special Issues will integrate the two distinct schools of thoughts: Technical and Psychological. It is not uncommon that the augmented use of AI is leading to depleted application of emotions and thus new relationship styles are being developed. A perspective on the paradigm shift from Emotions to Algorithms needs a discussion keeping the prospects of Future of Work. Organizations have evolved in the face of AI in aspects of E-Commerce and Quick Commerce overhauling customer relationship management to customer records management of their orders. This Special Issue, thus, shall immensely contribute towards the arena of Marketing, Technology, Sociology and such allied fields.
