Description
The development of the Olympic site in East London represents the physical manifestation of change that the 2012 games has brought to the city. Cutting edge architecture and environmental sustainability rank highly on the developers’ specifications for the new site. From the new physical structures and their intended and long term uses to the overall environmental impact of these physical changes; the changing physical landscape in East London cannot be ignored. It is an exploration of all these issues, which will be the focus of my article.
