Focus

As part of the Youth Voice Journal’s Special Issue for 2024 we would like to invite you to submit theoretical contributions to ‘Cognition and Metacognition in Learning Activities and Upbringing of Youth‘.

The journal is seeking manuscripts that connect with the theme of addressing these youth issues through innovative and youth engaged research. All submitted articles that meet the special issues’ guidelines will go through a double-blind peer review process.

Call for Papers

Young people all over the world today face unique challenges in a constantly evolving global society. In this upcoming issue the Youth Voice Journal will provide special attention upon the important role of cognition and metacognition in education and upbringing of youth, the role of teachers; aspects of teaching and learning in the new conditions; personal, cognitive and metacognitive aspects of learning and teaching process, upbringing of young people and other important issues.

As a result, we encourage innovative research and submissions grounded in youth and youth-led research and centred on the views and experiences of young people.

Submission Information

If you wish and are interested in contributing to the YVJ, please consult our Author Guidelines and Editorial Policy outlining all the key information. We aim to have all manuscripts to be peer-reviewed within a 4-6 weeks’ time frame before being accepted for publication.

The Youth Voice Journal is published by RJ4All Publications, a branch of Restorative Justice for All (RJ4All) International Institute which is an international NGO with a mission to advance community and social cohesion, and redistribute power within society at the local, national and international levels.

The Youth Voice Journal (YVJ®) is a leading, international, multidisciplinary and double-blind peer-reviewed journal that specialises in theoretical and empirical research about issues affecting young people worldwide.
